Partnering with a leading Driven/Live Tool manufacturer to integrate a condensed Mega Synchro Tap holder for turning centers is still an area that needs a better option in the market. The Synchro Tap is an amazing product in mills and Integrex style machines that have the room for longer tools. But lathes have need for a more compact system... especially for vertical (OD) facing work and back side (Sub spindle) work. I've tried to work with driven tool companies on their offerings, but nothing is completely robust or works like the Synchro tap design. German based W&F tool company is probably the closest I've found at harnessing the SynchoTap system with their holders.
