What’s the buzz after IMTS? Industry 4.0

At BIG KAISER, the weeks following IMTS are all about regrouping, dissecting key learnings and trends that took place at the show and analyzing what products our customers were most excited about while at our booth.
 
In a recent blog post, we shared a recap of what went on at the BIG KAISER booth during IMTS and some of the products that received the most attention – our EWE and EWA digital boring heads. This is no surprise since Industry 4.0 is currently the main industry focus.

The dream of Industry 4.0 is for machines on a factory floor to be connected and able to communicate with each other. Maintenance can take place before breakdowns occur as data is exchanged, again and again, making output maximized and downtime minimized. Heading in this direction may seem fitting only for large manufacturing components, but the truth is, it is affecting how manufacturing is done in all company sizes.

As a company, we continue to focus on this trend when developing new products to ensure that we stay at the forefront of Industry 4.0. We look forward to sharing new developments in this area with our customers.
