30 Years of Boring Milestones

As we close out 2020, and our 30th anniversary celebration, we take one last look back at BIG KAISER’s role in the evolution of boring tools. In 1990, KPT Kaiser, as BIG KAISER was then known, set out with one goal in mind—to make Kaiser CKB boring tools number 1 in North America.

Since the beginning, BIG KAISER has been at the forefront of the industry with new and innovative products. In 1999, the EWN 41 was introduced as first fine boring head with three insert holders to increase boring range. In 2006, the EWB-UP 41 with an ultra-precise differential screw was introduced as the world’s first fine boring head with resolution of .001mm/Ø.
