BIG DAISHOWA is seeking a career minded, technical sales individual to join our Inside Sales/Customer Service team as Inside Sales Specialist. We are a global supplier of precision metal cutting tools including toolholders and machine tool accessories for the Automotive, Aerospace, and Agricultural industries, among others.
Our Inside Sales Specialist must clearly demonstrate the following qualities:
- Technical aptitude and willingness to learn necessary with high attention to detail.
- Ability to work in a heavy call volume, fast paced, energetic environment.
- Multi-tasker & team player with people skills.
- Clear communicator via email, telephone, and in-person.
- Quick & accurate typing skills
- Computer skills with Windows, Microsoft Office, Web Browsers. Experience with Salesforce and/or Microsoft Dynamics GP a plus.
- Excellent attendance and reliability.
- Leadership attributes a plus.
- Ability to work autonomously with a strong work ethic.
Responsibilities/Job Duties include the following:
- Heavy customer contact via phone and email, regarding technical product knowledge quotations, order entry, invoicing, returns, & credit memos.
- Providing support to distributors, end users, and sales team by preparing quotes and pricing.
- Generate and process all sales documentation such as sales orders, acknowledgements, international shipments including shipping documentation, special tool orders, etc.
- Resolve billing and shipping issues.
- Process merchandise returns requests.
- Cross departmental collaboration required.
- Other duties as assigned.
Education and Experience:
- Minimum of a high school diploma or equivalent. Associate or bachelor's degree in a technical or manufacturing business discipline preferred.
- Minimum 2 years inside sales or B2B sales support experience, including customer service.
Schedule: Full-time, Monday through Friday, minimum 40 hours per week, 8 to 5pm.
